Ingredients list for Tofu Chilli Garlic

  • 200 grams Silken tofu
  • 2=3 Bird's eye chillies
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic , finely chopped
  • 3=4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Mixed capsicums , diced
  • 1/2 small Yellow zucchini , cut into triangles
  • 1/2 small Green zucchini , cut into triangles
  • 4-5 small Spring onions
  • 1 tablespoon Red chilli sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • 3 teaspoons Cornflour slurry

Method

  1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan, add mixed capsicums and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Drain them on a plate.
  2. Add yellow and green zucchini to the oil remaining in the same pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Roughly chop spring onions and bird’s eye chillies. Add spring onions and garlic to the same pan and sauté well.
  4. Add red chilli sauce and soy sauce and mix well.
  5. Cut tofu into 1 inch cubes and add to the pan. Add bird’s eye chillies and toss the mixture well.
  6. Add red chilli flakes and cornflour slurry, mix well and add the sautéed capsicums. Toss gently and take the pan off the heat.
  7. Transfer into a serving dish and serve hot.
