Ingredients list for Sweet Potato Tots
- 1 large Sweet potato boiled, peeled and mashed
- 1 Egg
- ½ cup Refined flour (maida)
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- for deep-frying Oil
- 1 cup Bread crumbs Panko
Method
- Mix together sweet potato, egg, ¼ cup flour, salt, paprika and garlic powder in a bowl and knead into a dough.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Take the remaining flour in another bowl and add some water to make slurry.
- Divide the sweet potato mixture into 16 equal balls. Dip them in the slurry and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Deep fry the balls in hot oil till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Serve hot.
