Ingredients list for Sweet Laddoo Fritters

  • 18 small Boondi Laddoos
  • 1 cup Refined Flour
  • for deep-frying Oil
  • 1/2 cup Cornflour
  • a pinch Soda bicarbonate
  • a pinch Cinnamon powder
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • for garnishing Chocolate sauce

Method

  1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  2. Whisk together refined flour, cornflour, soda bicarbonate, cinnamon powder, sugar and sufficient water to make a thick batter.
  3. Dip the laddoos in the batter and slide them into hot oil and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  4. Arrange laddoos on a serving plate, drizzle some chocolate sauce over them and serve.
