Ingredients list for Sweet Coriander Sauce

  • 3/12 tablespoons finely chopped fresh Coriander 
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour/ corn starch

Method

  1. Mix the cornflour in half a cup of water and set aside. Heat oil, add the garlic and sauté for a minute. Add one cup of water, coriander leaves, salt, pepper powder, sugar and lemon juice and stir to mix well.
  2. When the mixture begins to boil, reduce heat and add the cornflour mixture. Stir and simmer till the sauce is thickened. Cool and store.
