Ingredients list for Suji Bread

  • 4 Bread slices
  • 3 tablespoons Semolina (rawa/suji)
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 1 medium Tomato chopped
  • 1 Green chilli deseeded & chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper powder
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cream
  • Oil shallow fry

Method

  1. In a large bowl mix together semolina, onion, tomatoes, green chilli, salt, black pepper powder and malai and mix well.
  2. Cut the sides of bread and heat a non-stick tawa and apply the mixture on the top side of the bread and put it on the tawa with the filling side on the tawa.
  3. Pour oil and cook till it becomes crispy. Remove and cut into triangular pieces. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
