Ingredients list for Spiced Chocolate Cookies
- 1½ cups Refined flour (maida)
- 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- 1 cup Dark chocolate melted
- ¼ cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup brown sugar/jaggery
- ½ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- 114 grams Butter softened
- 2 Eggs
- ½ teaspoon Baking soda
- ½ cup Cocoa powder
- for dusting Icing sugar
Method
- Preheat oven to 180° C. Line a baking tray with a silicon mat.
- Combine brown sugar, castor sugar and butter in a bowl and whisk well with an electric beater.
- Break in eggs and whisk. Add melted dark chocolate and whisk well.
- Sieve together flour, chilli powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder and cocoa powder into the mixture and whisk. Add chocolate chips and whisk well.
- Fill a piping bag with this mixture and pipe out cookies on the lined baking tray.
- Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
- Dust some icing sugar on top and serve.
