Ingredients list for Sitaphal and Sabudana Kheer

  • 2 large Custard Apples Pulp
  • 1 cup Sago soaked in hot water for 1 hour
  • 4 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Almonds chopped
  • a pinch Green cardamom powder
  • Few strands of saffron
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add almonds and sauté till light golden.
  2. Add sago and mix well.
  3. Add milk and cook till sago is completely cooked and the kheer thickens.
  4. Add green cardamom powder, saffron, sugar and custard apple pulp. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Transfer into small serving bowls and serve.
