Ingredients for Saeb Cinnamon Muffin Recipe

  • Apple roughly chopped peeled 2 cups

  • Cinnamon powder 2 teaspoon

  • Refined flour (maida) 2 cups

  • Baking powder 1½ teaspoon

  • Butter ½ cup

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) 1 cup

  • Eggs 2

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • Icing sugar for dusting


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180º C.

Step 2

Sift together refined flour, baking powder and cinnamon powder into a bowl.

Step 3

Put butter and sugar in another bowl and beat with an electric beater till creamy. Break eggs and beat again. Add vanilla essence and mix well. Add flour and fold in well. Add apples and mix well.

Step 4

Pour the batter into silicon muffin moulds kept on a baking tray till ¾ full. Tap the tray on the table to settle the batter.

Step 5

Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.

Step 6

Remove the tray from the oven, then remove muffins from the moulds, place on a plate and cool down to room temperature.

Step 7

Dust sugar on top of the muffins through a sieve. Arrange them on a serving plate and serve immediately.
