Ingredients list for Red Slaw Sandwich

  • 1 medium Apple cut into thin strips
  • ¼ medium Red cabbage shredded
  • ½ medium Iceberg lettuce shredded
  • ½ medium Red capsicum cut into thin strips
  • 1 Red radish cut into thin strips
  • 1 Baguette multigrain
  • 1 teaspoon Grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • as required Alfalfa

Method

  1. Halve baguette vertically and cut each half horizontally into two.
  2. Take apple, red cabbage, iceberg lettuce, red capsicum, red radish, grain mustard, mayonnaise, salt and crushed peppercorns in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Put some apple-cabbage mixture on one bread slice, top with some alfalfa and cover with another slice. Similarly prepare the other sandwich.
  4. Serve immediately.
