Ingredients for Pizza Dough Balls Recipe

  • Pizza dough as required

  • Refined flour for dusting

  • Milk for brushing

  • Mayonnaise 1 cup

  • Pesto dip

  • Fresh basil leaves 12-16

  • Garlic cloves 6-8

  • Pine nuts 1 tablespoon

  • Black peppercorns , crushed to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Parmesan cheese powder 1 tablespoon

  • Olive oil 1/4 cup

  • Mustard dip

  • Pommery mustard 1 tablespoon

  • Cocktail dip

  • Tabasco sauce 1 teaspoon

  • Tomato ketchup 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh parsley , chopped 1 teaspoon


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180° C.

Step 2

Dust the worktop with some flour, place the dough on it and knock back to release excess air.

Step 3

Divide the dough into equal portions and shape into balls. Place on a baking tray and brush some milk on top.

Step 4

Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven.

Step 5

To make pesto sauce, put garlic cloves in a grinder jar, add pine nuts, crushed peppercorns, salt, basil leaves, Parmesan cheese powder and olive oil and grind into a slightly coarse paste.

Step 6

Divide mayonnaise into 3 equal portions and put into 3 different bowls.

Step 7

Add 1 tablespoon pesto to one bowl of mayonnaise and mix well.

Step 8

To prepare mustard dip, add pommery mustard to the second bowl of mayonnaise bowl and mix well.

Step 9

To prepare cocktail dip, add tabasco sauce, tomato ketchup and parsley to the third bowl of mayonnaise and mix well.

Step 10

Transfer the 3 dips into the 3 separate serving bowls.

Step 11

Arrange the pizza balls on a serving platter and serve them with the 3 dips.
