Ingredients list for Piyush

  • 2 cups Yogurt
  • 6 tablespoons Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • a pinch Saffron (kesar)
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • to taste Salt
  • 4 tablespoons Mixed nuts

Method

  1. Hang yogurt in a muslin cloth for twenty-five minutes. Collect the whey in a vessel and use it in other recipes.
  2. Combine hung yogurt with sugar and mix well until sugar is dissolved. Mix green cardamom powder and saffron. Add buttermilk and mix well.
  3. Add salt to taste. Garnish with mixed nuts and serve chilled.
