Ingredients
- 200 grams cottage cheese (paneer), cut into cubes
 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
 - 1 small bunch fresh fenugreek leaves (methi) leaves separated from stems
 - 1 cup yogurt
 - 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
 - 3/4 tablespoon garam masala powder
 - 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
 - 1 teaspoon coriander powder
 - 1 teaspoon crushed black peppercorns
 - Salt to taste
 - 2 tablespoons gram flour
 - 2 teaspoons lemon juice
 - 1/2 cup fresh cream
 - A pinch of saffron soaked in 2 tablespoons milk
 - 1 tablespoon oil
 - 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin seeds
 - 1 cup onion paste
 
Method
- Take yogurt in a bowl, add ginger-garlic paste, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, crushed black peppercorns, salt, gram flour, lemon juice, fresh cream and saffron milk and mix well.
 - Add cottage cubes to this mixture, mix well and set aside.
 - Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, chopped garlic and onion paste, mix and sauté till onion turns a light brown.
 - Add fenugreek leaves and mix well. Add salt and mix well.
 - Add the cottage cheese mixture and mix well. Add some water and mix well. Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes.
 - Transfer into a serving bowl and serve warm.
