Makai Ki Kheer Delicious kheer make with corn kernels This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 28 May 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Sweet Corn, Milk Cuisine Hyderabadi Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Select Taste Level of Cooking Others Veg Ingredients list for Makai Ki Kheer 1 tin Sweet Corn 1 litre Milk 2 teaspoons Rice,soaked a few strands Saffron (kesar) 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 10 Almonds 1/4 cup Sugar 10 Pistachios,chopped Method Drain sweet corn from the tin and rinse in fresh water. Heat milk in a deep non stick pan. Drain and coarsely grind rice with a little water. Add to the milk and mix well. Let it cook, stirring frequently. Coarsely grind sweet corn with a little water or milk. Add saffron and green cardamom powder to the pan, mix and cook till the rice is done. Slice almonds finely. Add corn and sugar to the pan and mix. Cook, stirring continuously. Scrape the mixture sticking to the sides of the pan and put into the pan and cook till the kheer thickens.
