Ingredients for Kadipatta Chutney Recipe

  • Curry Leaves 2 cups

  • Bengal Gram Roasted roasted 1/4 cup

  • Black peppercorns 20-25

  • Tamarind ball marble sized

  • Salt to taste


Step 1

Roast curry leaves, gram, peppercorns and tamarind one by one till dry and crisp.  Mix well. Set is aside to cool.

Step 2

Once cooled, transfer into the jar of a mixer and grind to a powder. Add salt and mix well.

Step 3

Cool completely and store in an airtight container. Tastes wonderful with hot steamed rice and ghee.
