Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich Recipe

  • Boneless chicken breasts 2

  • Pineapple chopped 3/4 cup

  • Brown hot dog buns slit without cutting through 4

  • Garlic finely chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Black pepper powder to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Dried thyme 1 tablespoon

  • Oil as required

  • Large onion finely chopped 1

  • Green capsicum finely chopped 4 tablespoons

  • Mayonnaise 1/2 cup

  • Iceberg lettuce leaves torn a few


Step 1

Take chicken breasts in a bowl, add garlic, pepper powder, salt and thyme and mix well and set aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Step 2

Heat a sandwich griller. Brush with some oil, place the marinated chicken breasts on it, cover and grill till fully cooked.

Step 3

Mix together pineapple, onion, capsicum and mayonnaise in another bowl.

Step 4

Toast hot dog buns lightly. Shred grilled chicken.

Step 5

Place some lettuce leaves on the base halves of the buns, top with some pineapple mixture and some shredded chicken and cover with the top halves.

Step 6

Serve immediately.
