By Sanjeev Kapoor 03 Aug 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Dry green grams (hara chana), Onions Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Green Chana Chaat 1 1/2 cups Dry green grams (hara chana) soaked overnight 2 medium Onions chopped 2 medium Tomatoes chopped 2-3 Green chillies chopped 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped to taste Black salt (kala namak) 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder 1 teaspoon Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Method Pressure cook soaked dry green chana in three cups of water for seven to eight whistles or till done. Transfer them into a kadai and simmer till all the water evaporates. Take the hot chana in a bowl. Add onions, tomatoes, green chillies, coriander leaves, black salt, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, red chilli powder and lemon juice and mix well.
