The cuisine has its roots in a waterborne lifestyle, with aquatic animals, plants and herbs as major ingredients.
Thai cuisine is inextricably interwoven with culture, a mystical mix of fragrant flavours and intriguing history:  given the country’s historical Indian roots - Hindu Buddhism was bought here centuries ago, so many Thai curries are redolent with chillies, garlic, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and onions.

Ingredients for Green Beans With Thai Style Sesame Chilli Sauce Recipe

  • French beans 500 grams

  • Honey 2 teaspoon

  • Fresh red chilli diagonally sliced 2

  • Oil 2 teaspoon

  • Ginger 1 inch piece

  • Salt to taste

  • Honey 1 tablespoon

  • Vinegar 2-3 teaspoon

  • Sesame seeds (til) toasted 2 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Trim the beans and blanch in hot water for five minutes.

Step 2

Drain in a colander and refresh in cold water. Heat the oil in a non stick pan. Add the ginger and the blanched beans and stir. Add the salt, fresh red chillies and sesame paste and stir. Add honey and vinegar and stir.

Step 3

Serve immediately sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds.
