Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Fried Chicken Recipe

  • Chicken with skin cut into 2 inch pieces on the bone 750 grams

  • Crushed black peppercorns 1 teaspoon

  • Paprika powder 1/2 tablespoon

  • Garlic Powder 1/2 tablespoon

  • Onion powder 1/2 tablespoon

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Salt to taste

  • Refined flour (maida) 3 cups

  • Oil for deep-frying

Method

Step 1

Put the chicken ina large mixing bowl,add crushed peppercorns, paprika powder, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice and salt. Mix well and set aside for twelve hours.

Step 2

For the coating, dip the chicken in a bowl of flour, shake off excess, dipit in a bowl of water. Repeat this procedure three times. Shake off any excess flour.

Step 3

Heat sufficient in a large wok and fry the chicken in hot oil till crisp and golden in colour.Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 4

4Arrange them on serving plateand serve hot.
