Ingredients list for Eggless Cake

  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Ghee
  • 2 cups Refined flour (maida)
  • 1/4 cup Gram flour (besan)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 cup Mixed nuts chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice

Method

  1. Preheat the oven at 200°C .
  2. In a large bowl beat together yogurt, sugar and oil till fluffy.
  3. Sieve maida, besan, baking soda and salt. Add mixed nuts to it and then add it to the curd mixture slowly.
  4. Add vanilla essence and lemon juice and mix well. Pour the mixture in a greased baking tin and put it in the preheated oven for twenty minutes at 150°C and then for ten to twelve minutes at 180°C .
  5. Remove and serve.
