Italian cuisine has developed through centuries of social and political changes, with roots stretching to antiquity.  Italian cuisine is simple and a number of dishes having only four to eight ingredients.  They rely mostly on the quality of ingredients rather than elaborate preparation.
Noteworthy changes in Italian cuisine happened with the discovery of the New World and the introduction of potatoes, tomatoes, bell peppers and maize, which are now an integral part of this cuisine.  Italian cuisine is known for its regional diversity each with a distinct taste.  This cuisine today is probably one of the most popular in the world.

Ingredients for Double dish Pizza Recipe

  • Refined Flour 250 grams

  • Mozzarella Cheese 4 teaspoons

  • Olive oil 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Sugar 1 teaspoon

  • FOR SAUCE

  • Garlic chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Onion chopped 2

  • Tomato chopped 1

  • Green chilli chopped 2

  • Vinegar 1 teaspoon

  • Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon

  • For topping

  • Babycorns

  • Chicken

  • Black olives

  • Mozzarella cheese 1 cup

Method

Step 1

In a bowl combine together refined flour, salt, sugar, yeast, olive oil and sufficient water and knead a soft dough. Cover and keep it aside.

Step 2

For sauce, heat oil in a non stick pan add garlic and saute till licht brown.Add onions and saute till light brown. Add tomatoe, green chillies, vinegar, black pepper powder and salt and saute till oil surfaces. Remove and grind to a fine paste and keep it aside.

Step 3

For pizza base, roll the dough in four inch thick circular disk and let it prove for sometime.Spread some tomato sauce on the base and put the toppings of ur choice followed by mozerrala cheese and bake in the oven for fifteen minutes.

Step 4

Serve hot.
