Ingredients list for Corn Capsicum Vada
- 2 Sweet corn kernels
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 1 medium Green capsicum, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon Green chilli paste
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 cup Semolina (rawa/suji)
- 5 tablespoons Gram flour (besan)
- to taste Salt
- for coating Bread crumbs
- for frying Oil
Method
- Grind coarsely the corn kernels without using water.
- Transfer the corn kernels in a bowl. Add onions, green capsicum., green chilli paste, red chilli powder, semolina, gram flour and salt and mix well.
- Divide the batter into equal sized ball and keep aside. Roll the vadas in bread crumbs evenly.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides.Serve immediately.
