Ingredients list for Classic Greek Salad

  • 1 Head Iceberg Lettuce torn
  • 1 Cucumber halved and sliced
  • 4 Tomatoes cut into wedges
  • 8 Spring onions sliced
  • 10 Black olives stoned
  • 100 grams Feta cheese diced
  • 3 tablespoons White vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • 10-12 Black peppercorns freshly ground

Method

  1. Place the lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, spring onions, olives and cheese in a large bowl. Whisk the vinegar and olive oil together in a small bowl.
  2. Add the salt and freshly ground peppercorns. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well to mix. Serve immediately with crusty bread.
