Ingredients for Chilli Garlic Shrimps-Cook Smart Recipe

  • Large shrimps shelled and deveined with tails intact 8-12

  • Sweet red chilli sauce 4 tablespoons

  • Red chillies crushed 2 teaspoons

  • Garlic cloves 12-15

  • Lemon rind grated 2 teaspoons

  • Fresh coriander sprigs 12-15

  • Fresh parsley sprigs 2-3

  • Lemon juice 1/2 tablespoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Extra virgin olive oil 4 tablespo to shallow fry

  • Iceberg lettuce 4-5

  • Rocket leaves 4-5

Method

Step 1

Crush garlic cloves and put into a bowl. Add chilli sauce, crushed red chillies and lemon rind.

Step 2

Roughly chop coriander sprigs and add. Roughly chop parsley sprigs and add alongwith lemon juice, salt, 4 tablespoons olive oil and shrimps. Mix well.

Step 3

Heat a little olive oil in a non-stick pan. Place the shrimps on it, add the remaining marinade. Cover and cook till done.

Step 4

Tear lettuce leaves and rocket leaves and place into the bowl which had the shrimps and mix so that the marinade sticking to the sides of bowl gets mixed with the leaves.

Step 5

Prepare a bed of the salad leaves on a serving platter. Place the shrimps on top. Drizzle the sauce remaining in the pan on top and serve hot.
