Ingredients for Chilli Chocolate Cookies Recipe

  • Refined flour (maida) 300 grams

  • Baking soda 5 grams

  • Salt a pinch

  • Butter 200 grams

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) 150 grams

  • brown sugar/jaggery 100 grams

  • Eggs 2

  • Vanilla essence 10 millilitres

  • Chocolate chunks 300 grams

  • Paprika powder 1 teaspoon


Step 1

In a large mixing bowl cream butter, castor sugar and brown sugar.

Step 2

Add eggs and vanilla essence.

Step 3

Sift together flour, chilli powder and baking soda and gradually fold it in the sugar mixture.

Step 4

Add the chocolate chunks and mix well.

Step 5

Divide in equal portions and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.

Step 6

Meanwhile preheat the oven at 190 ° C.

Step 7

Bake the cookies for twelve to fifteen minutes.
