Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chicken Flower Dumpling Recipe

  • Chicken mince 300 grams

  • Green chillies finely chopped 2-3

  • Green chillies finely chopped 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns crushed 1 teaspoon

  • Basmati rice soaked 3/4 cup


Step 1

Drain the rice and keep aside. Mix chicken mince with green chillies, ginger paste, salt and crushed peppercorns. Divide this mixture into twelve equal portions.

Step 2

Form round balls from each portion of chicken mix and then roll them in the rice. Place rice rolled chicken balls on a perforated rack which can be fitted into a steamer pot.

Step 3

Boil water in the steamer pot and place the perforated rack in it. Cover the pot. Steam for about fifteen to twenty minutes or until cooked. Remove gently and serve hot with a dip of your choice.
