Ingredients list for Cap Cheese Toast

  • 2 medium Red bell pepper halved and deseeded
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese grated
  • ½ cup Mozzarella cheese grated
  • 2 Brown bread slices cut into small cubes and lightly toasted
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • ½ Green capsicum seeded and chopped
  • 2-3 Green chillies finely chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • ? cup White sauce

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180° C.
  2. Mix together the cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese in a bowl. Add the onion, green capsicum, green chilies, salt, pepper powder, coriander leaves and white sauce and mix well.
  3. Place the bell pepper halves on a baking tray. Place bread cubes on the base and top with a portion of cheese mixture.
  4. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts and turns golden.
  5. 5.Serve hot.
