Ingredients list for Bread Rolls-SK KHazana
- 1 cup + 1 for dusting Refined flour (maida)
- for greasing Oil
- 1 teaspoon Fresh yeast
- 1 teaspoon Castor sugar
- 1 teaspoon Milk powder
- 1 tablespo teaspoon Butter
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- for brushi Milk
- to sprinkle Black sesame seeds (kale til)
Method
- Put yeast in a bowl. Add castor sugar and 2 tablespoons warm water, stir and set aside till the yeast activates.
- Mix together flour, activated yeast, milk powder and sufficient water on the worktop and knead to a soft dough. Add 1 tablespoon butter and salt and knead further. Put the dough in a bowl, cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside to prove for 10-15 minutes.
- Grease a baking tray with some oil.
- Dust dough with some flour, divide into equal portions and shape into small balls. Place them on the greased tray, cover and set aside to prove for 20-25 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Brush some milk on each ball and sprinkle black sesame seeds on top. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove from heat, cool and serve.
