Ingredients list for Blueberry Tart
- 2 cups Blueberries fresh
- 1 cup Sour cream
- as required Short crust pastry dough
- ¾ cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla essence
- 2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida)
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 180ºC.
- Spread the short crust pastry dough in a rectangle tart mould, discard the excess dough and dork the crust. Place a butter paper on it, fill with beans and blind bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
- Whisk together sour cream, sugar, egg, vanilla essence, flour and salt in a bowl till smooth. Add blueberries and mix.
- Remove the baked tart shell from oven and discard the butter paper and beans. Place it on a baking tray and fill it with the sour cream-blueberry mixture.
- Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
- Serve.
