Ingredients list for Banana Fries with Cheese-SK Khazana
- 4-5 Medium raw bananas
- as required Mozzarella cheese grated
- for deep-frying Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- to taste Black pepper powder
- to taste Salt
- 3-4 tablespoons 3 coloured capsicums finely chopped
- 4 teaspoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
Method
- Preheat oven to 180˚ C.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Trim the ends of the bananas, peel and cut them into 1½ inch thick strips.
- Slide in the strips into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Put the fries in a bowl. Sprinkle chilli powder, pepper powder and salt and toss well.
- Spread these fries on oven proof serving plate. Spread mixed capsicums, coriander leaves and some cheese equally over them.
- Put the plate into the preheated oven and bake for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
