Ingredients for Apple and Oats Pancake Recipe

  • Apple peeled and finely chopped 1 cup

  • Rolled Oats 1 cup

  • Apple juice 3½ cups

  • Egg 1

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) ¼ cup

  • Cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 cup

  • Whole wheat flour (atta) 1 cup

  • Oil 4 tablespoon

  • Butter 4tbsps + f

  • Honey for garnishing

  • Icing sugar for dusting

  • Chocolate powder for dusting

Method

Step 1

Put oats in a bowl and add apple juice. Break egg into it and mix well. Add sugar, cinnamon powder and apples and whisk well.

Step 2

Add refined flour and wheat flour and whisk to make a smooth batter. Set aside.

Step 3

To make each pancake, heat 1 tbsp oil and 1 tbspbutter in a non-stick pan. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread to a round shape.Cook till the underside is golden brown. Flip and cook again till the other side is done.

Step 4

Arrange the pancakes on a serving platter, garnish with butter and honey. Dust icing sugar and chocolate powder on top and serve immediately.
