Ingredients list for Apple and Oats Pancake

  • 1 cup Apple peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 3½ cups Apple juice
  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1 cup Refined flour (maida)
  • 1 cup Whole wheat flour (atta)
  • 4 tablespoon Oil
  • 4tbsps + f Butter
  • for garnishing Honey
  • for dusting Icing sugar
  • for dusting Chocolate powder

  1. Put oats in a bowl and add apple juice. Break egg into it and mix well. Add sugar, cinnamon powder and apples and whisk well.
  2. Add refined flour and wheat flour and whisk to make a smooth batter. Set aside.
  3. To make each pancake, heat 1 tbsp oil and 1 tbspbutter in a non-stick pan. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread to a round shape.Cook till the underside is golden brown. Flip and cook again till the other side is done.
  4. Arrange the pancakes on a serving platter, garnish with butter and honey. Dust icing sugar and chocolate powder on top and serve immediately.
