Ingredients list for Aloo Bhaja

  • 7-8 medium Potatoes peeled
  • 6 tablespoons Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder

Method

  1. Cut potatoes into thin strips and keep them soaked in water.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  3. Remove potatoes from water and lightly squeeze the extra water and put them in a bowl.
  4. Add salt and turmeric powder and mix.
  5. Add the potatoes to the pan and shallow-fry, stirring to ensure even cooking, till crisp and lightly browned.
  6. Drain and place on absorbent paper.
  7. Serve them hot in shot glasses.
