Method

  1. Carefully carve and cut the ice block into a cube that can be placed into the serving glass. Place the cube into the glass. 
  2. Pour whisky in a cocktail shaker, add sugar syrup and lemon juice. 
  3. Break the egg, separate egg white from the yolk and put into a small bowl. Put the yolk in another bowl to use in some other recipes. Add 15 millilitre of the egg whites to the shaker and shake it for a few seconds till the egg white begins to foam. Add some ice cubes and shake again.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared glass. Pass a toothpick through the orange slice and place it over the glass. Serve immediately.
  5. Note – To make simple syrup, dissolve 1 part of grain sugar or castor sugar in 1 part of water.
