Ingredients
- 10-15 fresh plums, seeded and finely chopped
- ¾ cup sugar
- ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon chaat masala
- ½ teaspoon black salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Method
- Heat a non-stick pan, add plums and dry roast for 1 minute. Add ¼ cup water, mix and cook till the plums become soft and pulpy.
- Add sugar and mix, continue to cook till the sugar melts. Mash the plums with the back of a spoon and mix.
- Add roasted cumin powder, chaat masala and black salt, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Switch the heat off, add lemon juice and mix till well combined. Allow to cool completely.
- Transfer the mixture into a blender jar and blend into a smooth mixture. Strain the mixture into a bowl.
- Transfer the mixture equally into individual popsicle moulds and close the lid. Freeze for 6-8 hours.
- De-mould and serve.
