Ingredients
- Sea salt for rimming
- 1-2 lemon wedges
- 100 millilitre tequila
- 40 millilitre lemon juice
- 60 millilitre sugar syrup
- 60 millilitre orange liqueur
- Ice cubes as required
- Lemon slices for garnish
Method
- Coarsely crush the salt and spread on a plate. Rub the rim of each glass with a lemon wedge and press it over the crushed salt.
- For two portions, pour 50 millilitre tequila into a glass, add 20 millilitre lemon juice, 20 millilitre sugar syrup, 30 millilitre orange liqueur and a few ice cubes and shake it well for a few seconds.
- Strain the mixture into two prepared glasses, garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately.
