Ingredients
- 2 red apples
- 1 cup apple juice
- 4 inch cinnamon sticks + for garnish
- 2 inch ginger, sliced
- 2 tablespoons tea leaves
- 4 tablespoons sugar
Method
- Core and chop the apples into thin slices and set aside.
- Heat 2 cups water in a sauce pan, add apple juice, cinnamon and ginger, mix and bring the mixture to boil.
- Add some apple slices, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add tea leaves and mix well.
- Add sugar and mix well, continue to cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Put some of the remaining apple slices in each serving cup and strain the prepared tea into them.
- Place a cinnamon stick in each cup and serve hot.
