Ingredients
- 5-6 fresh strawberries
- 5-6 fresh mulberries
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons sugar syrup
- Crushed ice as required
- Tonic water as required
- Fresh mint sprigs for garnish
Method
- Chop ¾ of the strawberries and thinly slice the remaining.
- Put the mulberries in a glass, add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 2 tablespoons simple syrup and muddle well.
- Transfer the chopped strawberries into a serving glass. Add 2 tablespoons sugar syrup and 1 tablespoon lemon juice and muddle well. Add crushed ice, arrange strawberry slices along the sides and add tonic water. Strain the mulberry mixture into the glass, garnish with mint sprig and serve immediately.
