Ingredients list for Whole Wheat Masala Cracker-SK Khazana
- 1 1/2 cups for dusting Whole wheat flour (atta)
- a few Fresh coriander sprigs
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 Green chilli
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Dried yeast
- tablespoon Castor sugar
- 1 tablespoon Oil
Method
- Blend together coriander sprigs, garlic cloves and green chillies with some water to a fine paste.
- Put wheat flour in a bowl and add salt. Mix and make a well in it, add yeast, castor sugar and some warm water. Mix and let the yeast activate.
- Mix well, add prepared paste and knead. Add some water and knead again. Add oil and knead to a semi-stiff dough. Set aside to rest for 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180º C.
- Divide the dough into equal portions, dust with some flour and roll out into thin discs. Use a flower shaped cookie cutter and cut out crackers from them.
- Prick them all over with a fork and transfer on a baking tray. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove from heat, cool and serve or store in airtight container.
