Ingredients list for Virgin Mary Shots

  • 5-6 Tomatoes
  • 6 inches Celery stalk
  • 1 Lemon
  • as required Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce


  1. Halve the tomatoes, put into a juicer and extract juice. Collect the juice in a bowl. Put 3 inch celery stalk in the juicer and extract juice. Collect the juice in the same bowl. Remove the froth and discard.
  2. Chill 3 glasses in the refrigerator. Spread salt in a plate. Halve a lemon and rub it on the rims of the glasses. Dip the rims in the salt. Add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce to the tomato juice and mix well.
  3. Cut 3 thin slices from the remaining lemon and make a slit on one side. Cut the remaining celery into thin sticks. Put a few ice cubes in each glass and pour the tomato juice over them.
  4. Fit the lemon slices on their rims and put a celery stick in each glass. Serve immediately.
