Ingredients list for Veg Peshawari Kababs
- 1 cup soya mince soaked for 1 hour
- 1 cup Carrot thickly grated
- 1 medium Green capsicum finely chopped
- 2 medium Onions finely chopped
- 3 teaspoons Ginger-garlic paste
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 2 tablespoons Hung yogurt
- 4 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch
- 2 teaspoons Chole masala
- 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
- to shallow fry Oil
Method
- Squeeze out the water from the soya mince and place in a bowl.
- Add carrot, capsicum, onions, ginger-garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, hung yogurt, cornflour, chole masala and breadcrumbs and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into eight equal portions and shape them into kababs.
- Heat oil in a shallow non-stick pan and place the prepared kababs.
- Cook on medium heat, turning sides, till both the sides are equally golden brown and crisp.
- Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
