Ingredients list for Upma - Chinese Style
- 2 cups Semolina
- 2 Spring Onion sliced
- 2 tablespoons Ghee
- 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Chilli sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon White pepper powder
- to taste Salt
- 1 medium Green capsicum seeded
- 4 Babycorn blanched and sliced
- 1 medium Carrot blanched and sliced
Method
- Heat ghee in a non stick pan roast semolina till light brown. Remove and set it aside.
- In the same pane add one tablespoon ghee add onions and saute till light brown.Add soya sauce, sweet chilli sauce, white pepper powder and salt and saute for a minute.
- Add capsicums, baby caorns, carrots and toss for two minutes.Add semolina add two cups water and let it simmer till the water absorbs. Serve hot.
