Ingredients list for Tomato Rice with Herb and Cheese
- 3 cups Cooked Rice
- 3 medium Tomatoes finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Fresh mixed herbs (rosemary, oregano, basil, thyme)
- for garnishing Grated processed cheese 1/2 cup +
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons Minced garlic
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Paprika powder
- to taste Salt
- for garnishing Fresh parsley Chopped, 1 tablespoon +
Method
- Heat butter in a non-stick wok, add garlic and onion and sauté till onion turns translucent.
- Add tomatoes and stir on high heat for a minute. Add paprika powder and salt and mix well. Add rice and mix well.
- Add mixed herbs and parsley, mix well and cook on low heat for a minute.
- Add cheese, cover and cook on low heat for a minute.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot garnished with a little parsley and cheese.
