By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Tomatoes, Mini Buns Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Tomato Cheese Buns 2 medium Tomatoes 4 Mini Buns 300 grams Processed cheese as required Olive oil 1 1/2 teaspoons + to taste Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns 1 teaspoon Balsamic vinegar 1 small Onion finely chopped 2 teaspoons Fresh parsley chopped 2-3 Pickled jalapenos finely chopped 4-5 Fresh basil leaves roughly chopped Method Heat some olive oil in a non-stick tawa. Halve buns horizontally and place them on the tawa. Toast evenly from both the sides. Seed tomatoes and chop and place in a bowl. Cut cheese into small rectangles and place on the inner side of bun halves. Add salt, peppercorns, Balsamic vinegar, onion, parsley, jalapenos, one and a half teaspoons olive oil and basil leaves to the tomatoes and mix well. Place cheese topped toasted bun halves on a serving platter. Top with tomato mixture and serve immediately.
