Ingredients
- 1½ cups refined flour + for dusting
- 20 grams fresh yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon oil + for brushing
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup pizza sauce
- 2-3 button mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons sweet corn
- 2-3 fresh jalapenos, sliced
- 3-4 chicken sausages, diagonally sliced
- 50 grams mozzarella cheese block
Method
- Preheat oven at 180°C.
- Take refined flour in a bowl. Make a well in the center. Add the fresh yeast in the center. Sprinkle sugar and add some warm water. Mix the yeast with the sugar and water. Rest for 5 minutes or till the yeast is activated.
- Mix the flour with the activated yeast. Add salt and sufficient water and knead to a soft dough.
- Add 1 tablespoon oil and knead again. Cover with a wet muslin cloth and set aside to prove.
- Dust a work top with flour. For one pizza, take a portion of the dough and roll out into thin disc. Cover with a muslin cloth and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
- Brush oil on the base. Spread the tomato sauce, top with sliced mushrooms, sweet corn, fresh jalapenos, and chicken sausages.
- Grate mozzarella cheese on top. Bake 15-20 minutes
- Remove from the oven. Cut into slices and serve hot.
