Ingredients list for Tangy Chicken
- 1/2 kilogram Chicken cut into cubes
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Roasted cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
- 3/4 cup Onion paste
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 4-5 Green chillies slit
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
Method
- Marinate the chicken with lemon juice, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, onion paste and salt. Set it aside for twenty minutes.
- Heat oil a non-stick pan. Add sugar and cook till changes color. Add cumin seeds and saute till it crackles. Add green chillies and saute for a minute.
- Add the marinated chicken and salt and continue cooking on low heat by sprinkling little water at a time to avoid burning till chicken gets almost cooked. Add yogurt and mix well. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
Serve hot.
