Ingredients list for Sweet Potato Kheer With Sago
- 1/2 kilogram Sweet potato
- 2 tablespoons Milk
- 1/4 kilogram Jaggery (gur)
- 4 cups Coconut scraped
- 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- a pinch Salt
Method
- Peel, wash sweet potatoes and cut into thin slices.
Cook them with sago in two cups of water, till sweet potatoes become soft.
Add jaggery and mix. - Grind scraped coconut with four cups of water and extract three cups of thick coconut milk.
Add to sweet potatoes mixture. - Continue to cook for five minutes.
Add cardamom powder and salt.
Stir and remove from heat.
Serve warm.
