Ingredients list for Sweet Coriander Sauce
- 3/12 tablespoons finely chopped fresh Coriander
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornflour/ corn starch
Method
- Mix the cornflour in half a cup of water and set aside. Heat oil, add the garlic and sauté for a minute. Add one cup of water, coriander leaves, salt, pepper powder, sugar and lemon juice and stir to mix well.
- When the mixture begins to boil, reduce heat and add the cornflour mixture. Stir and simmer till the sauce is thickened. Cool and store.
