Ingredients list for Steamed Seafood Packets
- 200 grams Shrimps deveined
- Mushrooms
- 5-6 Mushrooms quartered
- 5-6 stalks Green garlic chopped
- 1 large Onion chopped
- to taste Salt
- 3-4 Black peppercorns crushed
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Method
- Wash shrimps thoroughly under running water and drain.
- Mix together shrimps, mushrooms, green garlic, onion, salt, crushed black peppercorns and lemon juice. Take a piece of aluminium foil and shape into a packet.
- Fill it less than half with the shrimp mixture leaving top space empty for steam to accumulate. Fold and seal the top tightly so that the steam does not escape.
- Heat a griddle or pan and place the aluminium packets on it. Cook on low heat for five to six minutes.
- If cooking in a pan, you can add some water to it and the packets get steamed in waterbed.
- Serve in the aluminium packet itself so that it can be opened just before eating.
