By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Gramflour, Salt Cuisine Gujarati Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 1½ cup gram flour Salt to taste ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder 2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon carom seeds 1 tablespoon oil + for deep-frying Method Mix together, gram flour, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, carom seeds and oil. Add water as required and knead a soft dough. Shape the dough in a cylinder and add it to a sev press. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai to deep-fry. Pipe out the sev in the heated oil with a sev press and fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
