Ingredients list for Spicy Breakfast Cereal Mix
- 1/2 cup Honey Cornflakes
- 1/2 cup Broken Pretzels
- 1/2 cup Broken Pretzels
- 1/2 cup Broken chocolate coated rice crisps
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Crushed roasted cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 2 tablespoons Asian chilli sauce
- 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C/ 400 °F. Combine honey crisps, cornflakes, broken pretzels and chocolate rice crisps in a bowl.
- Melt butter in a bowl in microwave oven. Mix together salt, crushed cumin seeds, oregano, garlic powder and powdered sugar in another bowl.
- Add Tabasco sauce, Asian chilli sauce and Worcestershire sauce to the melted butter and mix.
- Add the dry powder mixture and mix well. Add half of this mixture to the cereal mixture and mix well.
- Spread this mixture on a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes.
- Take the tray out of the oven and transfer the mixture into a bowl to cool slightly. Serve when it reaches room temperature.
