Ingredients for Spaghetti with Baked Beans -SK Khazana Recipe

  • Spaghetti cooked 400 grams

  • Baked beans 1 1/2 cup

  • Olive oil 5 tablespoons

  • Garlic chopped 8 teaspoons

  • Onion finely chopped 2 medium

  • Oregano fresh springs 2

  • Fresh thyme springs 2-3

  • Tomato puree 1 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Dried red chilli flakes 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Cherry tomatoes halved 10-12

  • Fresh parsley springs for garnish

  • Parmesan cheese grated for garnish


Step 1

Heat 2 tbsps olive oil in a non-stick pan, add 4 tsps garlic and saute till the raw smell disappears. Add onions, mix well and saute till translucent.

Step 2

Add oregano and thyme, mix and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add tomato puree, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add baked beans, salt and crushed black peppercorns, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes. Take the pan off the heat.

Step 3

Heat remaining olive oil in another non-stick pan, add remaining garlic and saute till the raw smell disappears. Add spaghetti, dried red chilli flakes, salt and cherry tomatoes and toss well.

Step 4

Transfer the spaghetti onto individual serving plates, top it with some baked beans, garnish with parsley sprig and grated parmesan cheese And serve hot.
